Cooking whole chicken wings on the smoker takes about 2 hours to make so you will need to be patient. With that being said, these wings turn out juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside and they are hands down my favorite way to prepare wings! Chicken wings (when naked) are gluten free and keto friendly too.
We love these smoked chicken wings especially when we are feeding a crowd or watching sports. They are totally worth the time plus there is very little effort involved.
We own a Recteq pellet smoker, but this recipe will work for other brands of pellet smokers. I’m not sure how long they would take on an electric smoker (since I don’t own one) so if you try this recipe on one then drop me a line below and let me know how they turned out.
Included in the recipe card is our BBQ RIB RUB (Dry rub for ribs, chicken and pork) which is 100% defreakinglicious and 100% not keto friendly. So, if you are following a keto or low carb diet then ditch the sugar in my recipe, use a keto approved rub like THIS one or simply use salt and pepper, they still taste amazing y’all!
If I’m serving a crowd or prepping for the big game, then I serve my smoked wings with a dip like my FIESTA CORN DIP, CRAB RANGOON DIP and some SOUTHWESTERN EGG ROLLS plus raw veggies with BUTTERMILK RANCH DRESSING AND DIP or a SWEET VINEGAR SLAW.
And lastly, I have included an easy buffalo sauce recipe that only requires 3 ingredients. So, get to smoking!
