The peartini is a simple yet sophisticated drink to consume. As the name would imply, it is a pear flavored martini, and my recipe only uses 3 ingredients. So, pull out the fancy glasses and let’s get to shaking because I have an easy peartini recipe to share with y’all!
The ingredient list is simple. You will need:
- Pear flavored vodka
- Elderflower liquor
- Lemonade
There are two different brands of pear vodka (Absolute Pear or Grey Goose la Poire) and I have tried both in this recipe. I will honestly tell you that the more expensive Grey Goose La Poire is better. But that is just my humble opinion and I tend to be a bit bougie.
There are also 2 different types of elderflower liquor (St Germain’s or St Elders) and I have only used one in my peartini. I opt for the lower cost one which is the St Elder because I spend the money on the expensive vodka. It’s a game of pocketbook balance for me. I have not tried the St Germain’s elderflower liquor but I’m sure it’s fantastic in this recipe.
You’re going to need a good martini shaker for this drink because, let’s face it, it’s fun to shake. Shake it overhead, do a martini shake dance, act like Tom Cruise in the movie Cocktail. Do whatever tickles your fancy but trust me, the shaker is important! THIS is the one I use.
The glass you serve your peartini in is equally important so check THESE out if you are in need of some. These are the martini glasses that I have on my wish list for this holiday season. Hint hint, lol.
