HONEY GARLIC PORK TENDERLOIN

This is an easy one pan meal that takes 30 minutes to prepare. Juicy and lean pork tenderloin is covered in a delectable sweet and spicy sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Pork tenderloin 16 oz
  • 2 Green onion diced thin
  • 1  Thai chili pepper diced thin
  • 2-3 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste
  • ¼ cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • ½ cup Chicken broth
  • ¼ tsp Sesame oil
  • Salt/pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Season pork with salt and pepper.
  • Add 1 tbsp olive oil to a cast iron skillet and sear pork tenderloin 4 minutes per side.
  • Place skillet in oven and bake pork for 10-15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145-150 degree F.
  • Remove pork from skillet and set aside. Add additional olive oil to skillet (if needed).

To make sauce

  • In cast iron skillet, add green onion, thai chili pepper, and garlic. Saute 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes while stirring continuously.
  • Pour sauce over pork and serve.
  • Garnish with extra green onion or cilantro/parsley. Optional
