This Honey Garlic pork tenderloin recipe is an easy one-pan meal that comes together in 30 minutes. The end product is a deeply flavorful and very tender pork tenderloin that is covered in a sweet and spicy garlic sauce.
I’m a huge fan of pork tenderloins because they are as the name suggests, tender. They are also very lean and that makes them a healthy dinner option.
You can sometimes find them in the grocery store as a pack of two. And if you’re really lucky those 2 packs are on sale, buy one get one free. So now you have 4 pork tenderloins and believe me, they’re perfect to freeze and quick to dethaw.
Pork tenderloin with honey garlic sauce is one of my favorite ways to prepare this delicious cut of meat. I simply pan sear all sides for a couple of minutes in my cast iron skillet and then bake until the center is at 145-150 degrees F on a digital thermometer.
Once the pork is cooked, just set it aside on a separate plate and make the honey garlic sauce in the same pan. It comes together in a couple of minutes and then you can pour that decadent sauce all over the pork.
Ingredients
- Olive oil
- Pork tenderloin
- Green onion
- Thai chili pepper
- Garlic
- Ginger paste
- Soy sauce
- Honey
- Chicken broth
- Sesame oil
- Salt/pepper
I like using ginger paste (minced ginger) for my pork tenderloin with honey garlic sauce because it blends in perfectly with the other ingredients. Raw ginger requires a longer cook time to allow it to soften but if that’s all you have then cook it for a few minutes before adding the garlic.
Coconut aminos or Tamari can be substituted for the soy sauce.
