This fried green tomato BLT is an explosion of flavors. Crispy fried green tomatoes sit alongside salty bacon, thin sliced turkey and a tangy remoulade sauce.
In a small bowl add the flour and salt and pepper (1/2 tsp).
¼ cup flour, 1 tsp salt/pepper
In another small bowl whisk egg and add salt and pepper (1/2 tsp)
1 large Egg, 1 tsp salt/pepper
To a 3rd small bowl add panko and place 3 bowls in a row.
¼ cup Panko
Clean and slice green tomato 1 cm thick. Dip green tomato in flour, shaking off excess, then dip in egg and then panko. Gently place tomato in oil. Cook 2-3 mins per side or until golden brown. Do not crowd the pan.

Toast bread
2 slices Bread
Spread remoulade sauce or mayonnaise on both pieces of bread
2 tbsp Remoulade or Mayonnaise
Place sliced turkey, bacon, fried green tomatoes and lettuce between both slices of bread.
2 slices Bread, 2-4 slices Cooked bacon, 2 oz Deli turkey, 1 med Green Tomato, Lettuce, 2 tbsp Remoulade or Mayonnaise
